Epifanes Woodfinish Matte 1000ml (WFM.1000) provides a beautiful, rich, matte finish for all fine woodworks like teak and iroco, and has the appearance of being hand rubbed. Suitable for both interior and exterior woods. Provides years of protection against alcohol and other aggressive household chemicals.
With Woodfinish Matte there is no sanding between coats if re-coated within 72 hours and recoatable after 12 hours. The perfect labor savings alternative to traditional varnish!
Woodfinish Matte looks its best when applied as a final coat(s) over several coats of Epifanes UV Clear Gloss Varnish, Epifanes Woodfinish Gloss or Epifanes Polyurethane Clear Gloss in order to protect the wood from inside the grain or applied as a maintenance varnish over an existing system; it can be applied on basically every varnish.
Made from urethane-alkyd resins, tung oil and UV inhibitors. Offers excellent flow, durability, scratch resistance, exterior weather resistance and outstanding U.V. protection.
Reduce with Epifanes Brush Thinner or Spray Thinner for 1-Part Paint & Varnish if necessary.
Available in 500 ml or 1000 ml sizes.

| Application Conditions |
Temperature should be between 50F. and 85F. during application. Air humidity below 85%. Avoid varnishing in too much wind or sun. A rapid loss of solvents will occur under these conditions and will decrease the flowing ability. Add thinner up to the specified percentage to compensate for the faster release of solvents. Epifanes Woodfinish Matte is compatible with most other types of one-component alkyd or urethane based varnishes and over two-component varnishes. Any existing finish must be intact, degreased and sanded prior to recoating. Always stir Epifanes Woodfinish Matte prior to use. |
