Refund policy

OVERVIEW:

BuyEpifanes.com will accept most items for returns or exchanges with the exception of certain products marked as special order or custom tint paints (see Non-Returnable Items exceptions below). All return items must be in new, unused, unopened, and salable condition in original packaging. 

For returns for a refund due to buyer remorse, a restocking fee may be deducted from any refund given and shipping charges will not be refunded. Please understand that it is labor intensive and expensive to securely package and safely ship HAZMAT items, restocking fees are used to cover these costs.

In the rare event that items are damaged and leaking, move contents to an outside vacated area and contact us right away with your concern by filling out the Contact Form, found here. Damaged items will need to be documented with pictures and provided to us. We will replace the damaged item to resolve the issue. Please note, dented and dinged cans are a normal occurrence with shipping paints and not considered damage.

For returns for exchange, restocking fees will be waived but shipping changes will not be refunded.

RETURNS FOR REFUND:

For returns, the freight charges will not be refunded, no exceptions.

All return items must be in new, unused, unopened, and salable condition in original packaging. BuyEpifanes.com reserves the right to refuse a refund for any item deemed unsaleable upon inspection of goods.  

RESTOCKING FEES:

  • All returned consumable items (e.g. non-HAZMAT paint sundries, e.g brushes, roller covers, masking products) are subject to a fifteen (15) percent restocking fee.
  • All returned chemicals (e.g. paints, coatings, varnish, primers, epoxies, thinners, etc.) are subject to a twenty-five (25) percent restocking fee.

REQUEST AN RMA NUMBER:

To return an item, an RMA (Returned Material Authorization) number is required before shipping your item(s) back. Items shipped without an RMA number will not be refunded. 

Please contact us at Sales@BuyEpifanes.com to request an RMA number and return instructions.

An RMA number must be requested within fourteen (14) days of receipt and returns must be received at our warehouse within twenty-one (21) days of receipt.

Refunds will be issued in the same manner that payment was received within seven (7 days) of receiving at our warehouse.

Due to liability reasons surrounding HAZMAT items, we cannot provide a return shipping label and the customer is responsible for using a HAZMAT approved shipper.

Do not return HAZMAT items such as paints, coatings, varnish, primers, thinners, etc. via U.S. Mail. All paint must be shipped by a HAZMAT approved shipper. 

EXCHANGES:

If the wrong item is sent, an exchange will be made promptly and there will be no restocking fee or additional shipping charges for items shipped both ways. We may require your credit card information to keep on file in the event that items marked for return are not shipped back to us. We will not process payment on the card for replacement items unless there is a failure to receive items marked for return. 

If an exchange is for a different item due to customer remorse, shipping charges cannot be refunded but restocking fees will be waived. BuyEpifanes.com will exchange most items (see non-returnable items exception below) for an equivalent item and will waive the restocking fee.

Exchange requests must be made within fourteen (14) days of receipt and returns must be received at our warehouse within twenty-one (21) days of receipt.

For exchanges, the customer is responsible for shipping and safely returning the item for exchange to BuyEpifanes.com and is required to pay the full shipping costs unless it is replacement for the wrong item sent.
