Product Description
Epifanes Teak Oil Sealer (TO.1000) is a traditional impregnating oil formulated from linseed oil and alkyd resin. Designed specifically for the maintenance and protection of teak and other marine woods, this penetrating oil enhances natural wood color, protects against moisture intrusion, and prevents discoloration caused by weather and pollutants.
Unlike varnish or film‑building coatings, Teak Oil Sealer absorbs fully into the wood without creating a surface film. It provides a natural, non‑slip finish ideal for high‑traffic teak surfaces such as decks, rails, grips, and exterior trim.
Suitable for interior and exterior use above the waterline in both fresh and saltwater environments.
Important: Not recommended for furniture or seating surfaces, as freshly applied oil may remain tacky and can transfer to clothing.
Sold in 1 liter size containers. Download the technical data sheet here.

- Apply with a wide brush or lint‑free cloth
- Do not use a roller
- Remove excess oil with a clean cloth
- Avoid film build‑up — this product is designed to penetrate, not coat
Important Notes
- Teak deck seam caution: Teak Oil Sealer can soften rubber compounds in teak deck seams by activating plasticizers. Use with caution around caulking.
- Avoid furniture use. Freshly applied oil can remain tacky and transfer to clothing.
- Maintenance Interval: 1 month to 1 year depending on weather, UV exposure, and foot traffic.
- Safety: Linseed‑oil‑soaked cloths may spontaneously combust. Place used cloths in water or lay flat to dry.
BuyEpifanes Expert Notes
- Wet‑on‑wet is essential. Apply repeatedly until the wood stops absorbing for best results.
- No gloss or film. This is a natural penetrating oil, not a varnish or coating.
- Apply with a wide brush or lint‑free cloth - do not use a roller.
- Ideal for high‑traffic teak. Decks, rails, and grips benefit most from its non‑slip, natural finish.
- Avoid furniture use. Fresh oil can remain tacky and transfer to clothing.
- Watch deck seams. Teak Oil Sealer may soften rubber caulking; apply carefully around seam lines.
- Maintenance is simple. Clean, degrease with Epifanes Spray Thinner, and reapply as needed — no sanding required.
- Great for restoring color. Pair with Epifanes Teak‑O‑Clean & Bright when wood is gray or weathered.
